- Model 2

Rugged, compact and economically priced unit with lifting lever retraction  for direct and comparative size measurement of small parts at the bench or machine. Adjustment wheel on base controls elevation of platen for quick, easy semi-fine adjustment. Thumbscrew locks platen securely.  Base is integral with Indicator support.

 - - - Model 3

Similar in design to model 2 with adjustable platen feature, but having greater capacity. Arm can be set at any desired height on 6” column and shifted radially for off-center measuring points on larger parts. Clamp ring provides position reference so arm can be swung away for loading and acts as double security for setting after arm is locked. 

 - - - 2W and 3W for Compressible Materials

These two basic Ames gage designs are adapted to meet any ASTM, TAPPI, Federal, Underwriters or users spec for checking compressibles. Indicator is equipped with a specific dead weight and flat contact having required surface area. Ames has designs to meet many different specification requirements. When ordering specify weight load and contact shape and size.
